Tamil Serial Actress Hot Photos Biography Devayani (born Sushma Jayadev on 22 June 1973) is an Indian film actress. She starred in numerous Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films, along with a few Hindi films and one Bengali film. She received the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for her performances in the films Kadhal Kottai and Surya Vamsam.[1][2] She has also appeared in the films Bharathi, Friends and Azhagi as well as in the Sun TV series Kolangal. Devyani began her career as 'Sushma' in the Hindi film Koyal, which was later cancelled during its production stage.[3] She appeared in a Bengali film Shaat Ponchomi. She also acted in a Marathi film before debuting and rising to fame in Tamil cinema.

Her earliest films were released in the early and middle 90's including Kadhal Kottai. From 1996 to 2000 Devyani acted as heroine in over 35 films and acted alongside all the top actors like Kamal Hassan (Thenali, Panchathantiram), Prashanth (Appu), Ajith (Kadhal Kottai), Vijay (Friends), Vikram (Vinnukkum Mannukkum), Sarath Kumar (Suryavamsam), Parthiban (Azhagi).

She moved into supporting roles in Thenali though she still acted commercially until 2004-2005. Devayani considers actress Roja Selvamani as her mentor and close friend in film industry. Having helped Devayani to improve her hair styles in movies, Roja had also been her moral support during her marriage with Rajakumaran. Devayani began acting in the teleserial Break Kolangal as Abinaya which has had over 1500 episodes on Sun Television.

Shilpa is an Indian Tamil television actress known for her appearances in the mega-hit serials like on Kalaignar TV, Life OK’s drama serial Savithri, and Kanmaniyae on Sun TV. Shilpa entered the television industry after she finished her studies in Holy Angels Convent and started as a television anchor. She changed her name to Shilpa after joining the Holy Angels Convent as a kind of attraction.

Shilpa also says that of all the serials that she did, Nimmadhi gave her a reputed name in the industry. She played the role of the rich Nandhini Devi, who desires to marry the son of her own aunt.

The story evolves on the vindictive act of Nandhini, which destroys her upliftment. In the end, she dies as she offers her apologies to the whole family. Her character as Nandhini Devi gave her many opportunities to act in several television soaps. She did the serials like Bandham, Vennilamma on Gemini TV and Thamarai under the direction of Dhanraj.
