Few Cobol programmers are steeped in any of the 250+ distros of Linux. There has to be any easier way to make GNUCOBOL Windows friendly, especially the install.

The biggest turn off for me is the rambling on and on about Linux features in the documentation. To me such Linux focus diminishes significantly the broad based acceptance of GNUCOBOL. Why not devout some development time in the creation of a Windows centric implementation of GNUCOBOL. I was a 10 year employee of Micro Focus as a developer.
